Employee wellbeing: 4 ways to create a psychologically safe culture (Manager aimed)
Psychological safety in the workplace is about creating an environment where people feel they can speak up and are safe to do so – they won’t be called out or treated differently for saying how they honestly feel. It starts with being clear and transparent with employees…especially in troubling times such as the Covid pandemic. It’s important to be proactive and invite employee’s voices as they may be unaware they are allowed to freely speak up. Fundamentally, when people come forward with ideas, the response should be in an appreciative and forward looking mindset.
